Calgary and COVID-19

Wings of Hope for Africa has a deep heart for Calgarians who are suffering through the impacts of COVID-19. We love our hometown and want to show we care in a demonstrative way. We have already given away groceries to families in need: thanks to our sponsors’ generosity, our Hope for Kids Canada program is providing financial support to low-income families and single parents of school-age children in Calgary.

We work with schools in low-income neighbourhoods to find residents who need a hand up. Local churches also help us to identify hurting people. If you know someone who is struggling to put food on the table during this international health crisis, please connect with us. We can support them through our outreach program. Being kind during this difficult time is so important. We are in this together, let’s keep caring for each other.
