10th Back to school Donation

We would like to thank our sponsors and volunteers who participated in our 10th Back To School campaign. Your generous contributions have ensured 100 children in Burundi will be attending school for one year Sept 2021 to July 2022!

Fifty students will be supported in Buterere and another 50 in Kivumu. We purchased school supplies that included uniforms, notebooks, backpacks, shoes and pens. Families must typically buy these materials, all of which can be rather costly.

Instead of worrying about paying for school supplies and the like, parents can see their children learning and growing. Getting an education empowers children who live in less-fortunate conditions to go on and fulfill their dreams. They’ll lead productive lives within Burundi or perhaps in another country where they end up.

We could not have done this without your support! When you educate a child, you are breaking the cycle of poverty within families, communities at large and even the whole country. Thank you again for being a part of this noble cause that will change lives for this generation and generations to come.
